This song gets my vote as best surprise guitar solo of all time. Not surprising that it's good, but it always felt like it came out of nowhere in this sort of chill, mostly acoustic based song. It's three levels of electric solo and crazy good.
ETA: okay, now that I think about it, Eddie Van Halen in Beat It might be #1 in this category, but it's close.
