Why? Why honor that heritage? That flag's gone, fortunately, and has been replaced by a much better and more appropriate one. But why keep this 30 Year Tradition and who actually celebrates it? How does one actually celebrate Confederate Heritage Month? Who gets all excited and aroused by this month-long honor?

Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves signed a proclamation declaring April 2023 as Confederate Heritage Month in Mississippi.

The funniest part of all this is that the proclamation is dated April 31st.
...I guess that both the funniest and really the only funny part. The rest is just sad.
