Jxn - my prediction - Horne and Babychok in a run off
Brandon - I think Butch Lee is way ahead already - he's done a ton for the town, but apparently likes to piss people off
Flowood - No idea - apparently the former mayor, Rhodes, is supporting the lady.

Horne may win it tonight. Already at 50% w/ 1/3 reporting.

Butch will get it. He hasn't pissed off enough people yet. Hell, he will probably run for a statewide position in a couple of years.

Kathy Smith is a good friend of mine so I hope she gets it. Nothing against Wilcox but Kathy is a smart lady and very capable.

no doubt Lyin' Lumumba is a narcissist.......but with only 16% of the vote in a primary field of 12 candidates, I don't think a single vote from the other 10 candidates will swing his way. There is alot of good folk in Jackson (yes, black and white), and they know he is not the answer. I can't wait for him and his sister to pack up and leave. They are a cancer to this community in the worst way

Short answer, no. I texted Kim when I bailed on the conversation to let him know I was heading over to Levin. Not really good radio. Archie was trying to make it racial and I’m just tired of his shtick. I usually enjoy the Friday show, it’s usually the “gun & knife show” and lighthearted to end the week, he should have done that on another day.
