Idk if you guys watch the news or not but they had a congressional hearing over it. They have police and sheriff's officers discussing them. Coast Guard people reporting that a dozen drones chased their 40 something foot boat. Stop watching MSNBC and watch some real news. I don't think the Coast Guard is confusing them with a 747. This reminds me of the Chinese spy balloon and all the obfuscating our Gov't did about that until they couldn't deny it any longer.
Link your sources then, I haven't seen or heard of any of this. All I've seen are hobby drones, helicopters, and airplanes with people pointing and going..."Ooooo, look there's one.".

You really need to step away from the ledge....

Who really believes Biden's Homeland Security and the FBI at this point? Seriously... Can anyone verify that's really even from Homeland Security's and the FBI's joint twitter accounts?

Relax, fellas.

Trump has already worked it out with his allies: plans to wipe both left coasts of the lib establishment. Maybe a little collateral damage. But it's all good.

Got a crack a few eggs to make an omelet

or an egg salad sandwich.

It's hard to believe the FBI doesn't know who it is. They say it's not our military. But not an adversary military either. How much does a drone the size of a car cost ? I say shoot a few down and put an end to the speculation

You can get one about 7' diagonally for 20k. Flies about 45 mph. I suppose anyone could buy one if they wanted

Google is a very complicated platform to operate. But for example I can type in " drones following coast guard cutter in new jersey" and get 2 or 3 news stories on it. Not sure if it's just my phone or if everybody's phone can do that. Or say if I was interested in the congressional hearing about them I could type that in and hit search

Is that referring to local law enforcement?
That was my read. They basically said all the local authorities suck at vetting reports of drone activity.

I suppose there could be an handful of something unknown out there with as much as these things are advancing. They can be hard to detect but I am confident enough that the feds can spot swarms of these things and the source of them. Sounds like hysterics and sensationalism at this venture. But if there really is a bunch of unknown drones flying around and they really aren't ours and the tip top can't figure it out - I think I prefer it to be aliens than an enemy country. At least I could excuse letting aliens slip through the cracks.

You’ve got a lot of hope in a government that allowed a Chinese “weather balloon“ fly across the US without doing anything until the end.

But why ? What are they surveilling? And they had or reported they had a bunch on the military base up there plus Trumps resort/golf course. Repeatedly. Weird.
Could be testing anything. US flies crap all the time at night. I've seen drones out near stennis at night a few years ago but they weren't "out" yet or known to public. Is there a restricted air space near there?

If the military was doing testing the fbi wouldn't necessarily have the need to know and the need to admit it to public affairs and media. Could say they don't know even if they do

If I can confirm that it is indeed a drone repeatedly over my home using my new SPS recommended rifle scope, Im going to ground check it’s origin. Not that any of you will ever hear about it. Hypothetically of course.

Meh. A ballon isn't doing anything more than a satellite already does.

It blows my mind how everyone now believes that every aspect of the government is run either by the cigarette smoking man from the x-files or Barney fife from Mayberry. The willingness to blame every thing that happens on whatever government agency you don’t like before a single fact comes out is comical.

thats the military. that was filmed outside a base.
Yes. Why I put the sarcastericks. Great example on how people are running with whatever they want in the area and sensationalizing it.

One of the guys on Fox and Friends said the same thing I've been saying. "Let them fly those down south and see what happens."

Your link led me to these "drones" that are clearly aircraft.

We know you believe all the videos that have come out show only airplanes, no drones. Hovering, relatively quiet airplanes, with new flight paths that they've never had before. You've established that very well.

But in addition to those 4 videos, that particular link is like 20 pages long. Besides the videos, what did you think about the rest of the info? What about the CO of the Coast Guard swearing that 30 drones followed their ship? All fake? All just one big simultaneous prank by the Coast Guard, DHS, FBI, local law enforcement, and the people in several towns in New Jersey? Maybe so, but the joke doesn't seem that funny, or I guess maybe NJ tourism needed some action.

Hell, I don't claim to know what it is or what's going on, but what's the harm in admitting it is a little out of the ordinary? It seems like it has to be (a) our military; (b) foreign actors; (c) local pranksters; or (d) something else entirely. But with all those people telling the same stories, I highly doubt it's just regular airplanes that no one ever noticed before and that the military somehow can't identify or track. That seems less likely than aliens.

eta: I don't care that much about arguing this issue... but I do find this topic to be much more interesting and positive than the transfer portal at this point.

At Stennis? Absolutely
Well yeah at stennis I knew that I meant wherever these drones are showing up at. They will fly in and out of controlled airspace if testing things some times or running maneuvers for training or testing. Since that's populated area maybe mirroring Eastern Europe or something if they think they might be of use in any conflicts. Like sending them to Ukraine or something. No idea
