since I am the OP, I intended it to be whatever MM I am at, that would be my rate. so 66.5 miles from home, I'll be going 66.5 mph. etc.
see I think I get home, as a finite space can be divided into an infinite amount of intervals, at least thats what I remember from calculus.
That settles it, you're never getting home. Good luck out in the wild!

but I know I will hit the wall!!! so how is this different. (walking to a wall, you have to go 1/2 the dist, and then 1/2 dist again etc yet you do hit the wall)

You should probably attempt to continuously decelerate until your velocity approaches zero before hitting the wall. Don't you think?
