Gene and Roz Chaiken, 2021 PSU philanthropists of the year, welcomed President Neeli into office with a new 7 figure donation to fund scholarships. “With this wonderful and completely unexpected gift, they have indicated a show of trust and faith in me as a leader and their continued belief in the power of this institution”, she said in a formal statement acknowledging the donation. That’s quite a nice welcome indeed.

Article piqued my interest. The Chaikens are number four cumulatively in the amount given to PSU. Any guess of the amount needed to crack the top 10?
