Anybody got a recipe they'd care to share? I'd like to give that a shot this weekend

My favorite one. Never been able to find cream of jalapeno soup, so I use mushroom. Thought about making my own, but never tried it. I use half chorizo and half hot sausage.
eta: eat it with bbq pork skins

Thanks. Simple enough, yet it sounds delicious. I’ve got plenty of Holy Cow on hand, and we’ve got a pretty good Hispanic market right down the road that I’m sure has some good chorizo. Thanks for the tip

How much smoke flavor do you get? Not poo-pooing, but queso is real good in the oven.

Go simple. Smoked cream cheese. Take a block of philly, put it on foil (it won't melt), score it with a fancy design, sprinkle your favorite rub on it, smoke it at 185 for 2 hours, remove and cover with whatever jelly you like (hot pepper or apricot are my faves).

Super easy and everyone loves it.

I love the meat church one. I went simple this weekend Velveeta, Rotel, Jimmy Deans sage sausage, and added sliced Gouda to it. It was great.

There was one on here that I did one time and it was fantastic but I can’t find it and don’t remember it either. It had onions in it that I thought overpowered it a bit.

Campbells makes a Cheddar Cheese soup that works great. I use it as a starting point for my seafood bisque.
