I need some advice from the experts on the board. I need to put some fertilizer on some food plots and was going to do it Thursday morning for the rain that’s moving in Thursday afternoon. I hunt in Calhoun County.
They keep lowering the percentage and moving the area where the storm may hit. This fertilizer can’t sit on the food plot without rain or it will burn it up.
How is it looking for north MS and rain Thursday evening?

It’s not raining again in North Ms for at least 3-4 weeks but when it starts we all may need to build an ark. At least that’s how it usually goes.

I'd wait for a decent rain and then fertilize rather than hoping it comes after fertilizing. My plantings got a good start, but they are suffering in this dryness and I wouldn't risk burning them in that state.

ETA I am not an expert, but I play one on the internet.

That’s what I am leaning towards. The only thing I have in my favor is I can wait right up until the last minute and get out and do it if I see something changes.

Hope you got it put out. I think the moisture is present.
