OT: Restaurant/Bar Rec Jackson/Madison/Ridgeland

Drove up this morning to check on my folks, mow the place and run errands. Heading into Costco later on this evening and want to eat, have a couple and watch the CWS while in town. Where should I go? Local establishments only....Not doing BWW's.

eta: looking something casual....I'll be in shorts, flip flops and fishing shirt.

Appreciate the help guys!

Shapley’s, Ely’s, Caet

Mid Range
Local 463, Amerigo, Lou’s

also, not local, but bar at Top Golf is basically a sports bar and has decent food.

Martins at Livingston is a cool place to watch a game. It's about 15-20 minutes from Costco.

McB's in Ridgeland.

I don't know if you consider Bulldog Burger "local" but it's right by McB's.

Sacred Ground in Pocohontas is a cool place but it could be packed and Bill's in Flora.

Sal and Mookie's at the District. Like someone said - there's a lot of options around Fertile Ground Brewery.

Walk Ons in Ridgeland, beside Costco, is the spot. It's a little ratchet, but you'll be good tonight.

If your folks live in Gluckstadt, Martins in Livingston I (I haven't been, but heard good things).

Towed my son into town with me. We went to McB's early and had burgers then headed down to Fertile Ground after the 3rd inning. Got a couple of flights and The Captain from Poppy & Pies (Really Good). The walked over to Mayday Ice Cream and had a scoop of Bourbon Pecan and watched the last 2 innings in the open area behind the courtyard. Hadn't been out in Jackson in a couple of decades...having a good time. Thinking about going back over to Fertile for a nightcap IIPA.

Appreciate all the recs from everyone. I'll try the Livingston, Flora and Pocahontas recs next time up.
