pumice stone. You can find them at Lowe's/Home Depot. Will scrub any stain off of porcelain.
Tank pellets are great if you want to have to start replacing the guts of your toilet every so often. Those things will wear out your flappers and make the toilet run all the time, and will eventually wear out the seal between the tank and the base. They're hell on the rubber parts in there.
Pumice stone adds surface scratches and causes your toilet to collect the mineral marks. Don’t do it until you have to.
Wouldn't it be cheaper to have a plumber replace the toilet every few days when it got dirty?
Potentially. But I do other things with the wife that I won’t do with a plumber. But to each his own.
