Fired up the PS3 and ncaa football 14…. Had to pull up roster to remember some of the names and numbers from 2013 roster.

Tyler Russell doesn’t show up on any rosters on hail state website? Anybody know why?

That’s odd

He was #17, right? We should make him an honorary member and give him free chat for life.

Speaking of NCAA football, I watched a video last night that said to expect July 11, 2023 to be the release date for NCAA ‘23.

Apparently, the reason that EA hasn’t been able to get a game out yet isn’t nearly as much about the game itself as it is all the licensing crap. Per the video, around 120 schools have joined licensing group that allows for the use of school names, mascots, etc, but there are a dozen or so including Notre Dame, Kentucky, and USC that have not yet. On top of that, EA really wants to get player NIL back into the game, but with the utter lack of control over that right now, it’s going to be a challenge. Interestingly, it also mentioned that if EA fails to figure this out, it may be forced to exclude a roster edit option in the game which would really suck.

Anyway, we’re inside a year fellas

Seems like the easiest thing to do would be to include the roster edit, then make the teams more or less random based on general strength of the program, and let people make and share accurate rosters. Wouldn’t take long for them to be created and shared.
