Women's Golf Head Coach Denise St. Pierre Announces Retirement Following 40+ Years as a Nittany Lion

A legendary career spanning six decades has officially come to a close as Penn State women's golf head coach Denise St. Pierre announced her retirement Monday.

I'll be very surprised if alum ('03) Katie Futcher, who perhaps not-so-coincidentally announced her retirement as Emory's (D-III) golf coach yesterday, doesn't succeed St. Pierre. Futcher is PSU's most accomplished women's golfer, including nine years on the LPGA tour. In five years Futcher built Emory's WGOLF program from scratch to last year's D-III national championship and a fifth place finish this past Friday.
