We have one of these too, I believe it’s a 2018 but I don’t really drive it. No issues eitherOn my 2nd F-150 2018 59,000 miles no issues
Traded in a 2003 F-150 with 209,000 miles - no major issues
I have a 2007 Sienna. 130k. Just drove round trip from LA area to Eugene, OR. Ran like a champ. My only beef is that I don't garage it and the paint is damaged from all the SoCal sun. So I need to get it a paint job because I have no interest in replacing it. It's amazing what these mini vans can do. This summer I must have hauled dozens of retainer wall blocks and sand bags from home depot in the back of that thing. Incredible.2000 Toyota Sienna - blue, of course - 230,000, halfway there…
Lexus RX450h. One year old, great gas mileage, supposed to be most reliable luxury suv in it’s class.2013 Hyundai Elantra 122,000 miles

I read an article in Businessweek quite a few years ago that compared Toyota/Honda to American brands. Biggest takeaway, 100’s of parts subcontractors used by American companies are not used by Toyota/Honda because they can’t meet quality standards. Cars only as good as the parts used to build them .2014 BMW 328i xdrive. 169,000 miles. Love it. Best car I ever owned. (Used to be a SAAB guy, but GM screwed the pooch on them.) Have to replace the turbo charger soon.
I know American cars are much more reliable and better made than they used to be, but I haven't bought an American car in a long time.
Here's a Harvard Business School case study I'd love to see: how American car manufacturers went from best in the world to also-rans in a couple generations.
the key there is "quite a few years ago" I drive pretty much everything that is out there as my post retirement "job" and there isn't much differenceI read an article in Businessweek quite a few years ago that compared Toyota/Honda to American brands. Honda/Toyota now built in America. I owned both Toyota and Honda built in Japan, quality of construction was much better than the US made versions we have more recently purchased. Work ethic and cultural differences of the workforce…the key there is "quite a few years ago" I drive pretty much everything that is out there as my post retirement "job" and there isn't much difference
either US manufacturers are better or imports are worse, take your pick

or perhaps it's due to them managing to make the quarter look good instead of looking long term- a shift that perhaps may have started when they listed on the nyse? cultural differences of the investors?Honda/Toyota now built in America. I just bought a 2018 320i x drive with only 13,000 miles on it. I put just under 100 miles a day on my commuter car. I like it so far.2014 BMW 328i xdrive. 169,000 miles. Love it. VW is notorious for elec systems that are crap designs. My buddy’s sister had a Passat that had seat heaters and backup lights on same circuit. When the seat heater crapped out it cost $1400 to get the backup lights to function to pass inspection.2011 Audi Q7 with 105k miles, I've had it for 8 years... I would not recommend it to anyone. Electrical system nightmare, the windshield wiper motor cost me $1300 to replace.
I just want to limp it until next July (when my NYU daughter's education comes off the board) and get myself a slightly used Acura MDX
