I play WAFFLE first, and use one of the 5-letter words from that for my first word for Wordle. I don't like using a set first word guess, as that usually makes it too easy to solve quickly. I like the little challenge boost the random starts brings to Wordle.
The waffle-shaped daily word game.

Waffle took a few games to figure out the pattern, but it also can be somewhat challenging at times. Some days, they throw in a word that is rather uncommon, at least to me.
After those two, I finish with Bulls & Cows, a number guessing game that has similarities to Wordle. It's a game I played back in HS with a buddy in study hall (on paper back then), so I was pleased to find it available on line after all these years. Moderately challenging.
Play Bulls and Cows. Discover the hidden code! Click, or use arrow keys, to change your guess in each box. (Bulls and Cows is similar to, but came before, the board game MastermindTM*) Bulls = correct code, correct position. Cows = correct code, wrong position.
