Joe Buck when he thought he was a talk show host. It lasted about 6 episodes. His last episode he had Artie Lange on the show. Big mistake. Artie destroyed the show in about 5 minutes. That was the end for Joe.
Unfortunately most of the available alternatives these days absolutely suck. The more they come out with, the worse they are. A few years ago was the high point for TV, but it’s on the down slope.I could go on forever but will start with these 5 disasters:
1. F Troop
2. McHale’s Navy
3. Get Smart
4. Beverly Hillbillies
5. Mr. Ed
The 1960s was the most forgettable period for TV and an insult to people’s intelligence.
This was before cable when audiences had no available alternatives.
2 Broke Girls was awful, but I figured there were two good reasons to watch occasionallyGranted, there are some doozies out there like the Brian Bozworth detective show (one episode) or Kelsey Grammer’s ‘Hank’ and David Chappelle’s spin-off of ‘Home Improvement’ that only lasted half a season. However, the fact that ‘2 Broke Girls’ lasted several seasons and is still being shown in re-runs boggles my mind. It made ‘Joanie Loves Chachi’ look like Shakespeare.
You just crapped on my childhood filled with rerunsI could go on forever but will start with these 5 disasters:

The movie wasn’t that bad… at least the five minutes I saw of it.When I first heard about 2 Broke Girls, I thought it was a different kind of show.
Isn't that from The Price is Right?4. Family Feud (if I even hear "come on down" I cringe)
Yes, “Come on down” is from The Price Is Right.Isn't that from The Price is Right?
I think you are correct --- my bad.Isn't that from The Price is Right?
I love 2 Broke Girls. Started watching it during Covid . very funny show in my opinion, but I liked sitcoms.I have to respectfully disagree Blair. I love watching all of those on the retro channels. My personal favorite was Green Acres.
The worst show I ever watched was 2 Broke Girls when I was visiting my daughter. Horrible!
Sappy "family values" shows like Little House on the Prairie
i enjoyed those mentioned. Intellectual -- NO. Funny (humorous at least)-- Yes.Unfortunately most of the available alternatives these days absolutely suck. The more they come out with, the worse they are. A few years ago was the high point for TV, but it’s on the down slope.

No way! Rat Patrol was gold! and Christopher George was married to Linda Day George for good measure.Rat Patrol
LOL, I thought I was the only one who hated that show and I'll double down with Brad Garret was equally bad.I hated Everybody Loves Raymond. Ray Romano was the least funny of everyone on that show and he was truly unwatchable. Just terrible.
The only ones that I found remotely funny were Brad Garrett’s in-laws. But even that grew old quickly.LOL, I thought I was the only one who hated that show and I'll double down with Brad Garret was equally bad.
Maybe they could have talked about Jim Crow laws. Except in Florida, or course.Little House went south badly when Michael Landon started acting like he was the reason for the whole show and it simply ran out of ideas and bad situations for the family to go through. Can't imagine the storylines today in this social environment of wokism and correctness.
Herman's head
I loved Herman’s Head!
Wo Fat and Dr Loveless were exquisite recurring villains! Nice call out!Really?
How about -
The Dick Van Dyke Show
The Prisoner
The Avengers
Star Trek
Combat
Mission Impossible
The Twilight Zone
Hawaii Five O
The Flintstones
The Andy Griffith Show
The Fugitive
Monty Pythons Flying Circus
The Addams Family
That Was the Week that Was (My favorite)
Get Smart was funny as hell and great satire.
You will be hard pressed to find comedies today that will be able to stand the test of time.
PS: I forgot to add another favorite, The Wild Wild West. It was Steam Punk before there was Steam Punk. Special mention goes to the late genius Michael Dunn, whose character Dr Loveless ranks with Wo Fat and Newman as one of the greatest recurring characters in TV history.
