One of the first times out with my wife I was singing in the car and she told me I was tone deaf. I laughed but she doubled down and said that I was truly tone deaf. I didn’t know that was a real thing. I thought it was just a saying. on the other hand, she has a phenomenal voice, which must make mine even more painful for her to hear.accomplish?
Singing. I'm tone deaf, sing monotone (they say).
I'm blessed with enough musical talent that people pay me to sing and play my guitar. Not that I'll ever be playing Carnegie Hall....no matter how much I practice, practice, practice.accomplish?

Nut up and post a vid in the next jukeboxI'm blessed with enough musical talent that people pay me to sing and play my guitar. Not that I'll ever be playing Carnegie Hall....no matter how much I practice, practice, practice.
That said, I'm sure there are things you are good at that I am not!
Yeah, apparently that’s me. From what my wife and daughters tell me when the notes go up I just get louder and when they go down I get quieter. I will occasionally start belting out a song in church to get a reaction from them. Works every time.To be truly tone deaf I think you have to be incapable of discerning which notes are higher or lower, not just sing offkey.
