I just looked up an uncle of mine who died years ago. I didn’t realize at the time I knew him that he was an athletics director, a baseball coach with a record number of wins, and a Marine in WWII. Talk to your relatives, you might learn something (before they’re gone).

My Grandfather lived to be 98 and his father in Law (my Great Grandfather) lived to be 107.
Wonderful stories and insight from both.
My Grandfather talked to Mr Ford (Henry) from time to time and My Great Grandfather stared in a Nike chomercial at 100.
Miss them both.

I too was a bad listener as a kid which I regret as a lot of history was lost as relatives passed. My kids and grandkids have been inundated with my stories and I know they are listening because they use them against me when I lecture them on things not to do.
