Hey Cohen you lazy piece of shít. Can’t hire anyone outside of the state of Mississippi.

Also a hearty 17 you to our athletic department just because. I’m so tired of all this shít.

Knew this would happen as soon as I heard the Auburn coach retired. Don’t blame Armstrong. He did what he had to do. Hopefully Zimmerman or Drago will be able to keep us on track. And hope we can keep most of the signing class. Gonna be a rebuild next year.

We promoted Zimmerman. Honestly, that’s a best case scenario. I’m kind of ok with Armstrong leaving if he’s leaving Zimmerman behind.

You never hire a coach to keep a recruiting class. And I do think this is the best hire we could have realistically made. But this bodes well for keeping the recruiting class together. Very good news.

Welcome to the hatred of the Bryan building. Don't think anyone there knows what they are doing. Think it's time to bring back Benko or Weatherbee and Keenum to move to dc

I’ve been fed up with Selmon for a while. He’s been constantly looking at other jobs. Don’t think he’s focused here and it’s really starting to show.

What sucks more than the portal.... our own alumni poaching our coach to other sec schools

I mean, if a person that wore the uniform, put in the blood, sweat and tears has zero loyalty..... damn, why do I? I mean really.
It's. Business. Of course I think some of them are lazy and just go the msu route to get coaches. Also they don't believe msu can be the big dog so they have the mindset to take. Afterall they left for bigger better things so they believe MSU just poor ole msu stepping stone U

I know a lot of people here were getting annoyed this time last year when Selmon was starting to get called out, but here we are a full year later, and I still don’t know of one positive thing that he’s accomplished for MSU.

No master plan, no marketing, no juice around football, amateur gameday experience, and we can’t even maintain the bright spots that we have like women’s soccer because our coaches are ready to leave the first chance they get. It’s pathetic, and in two years, the only things I can associate with Selmon is a 17n State script logo, a ridiculous survey asking fans how much $$ they’d pay for basic gameday features, and a couple donations to the excellence fund that likely would’ve happened with or without him.

This is my favorite line by insider fans. Everyone is looking for other jobs. Doesn’t everyone unless you own your business. Loyalty only lies within our own household. Nothing else matters.

There is a huge difference between

"I'm focused here and working to do the best job I can do, and if some other school calls me and makes me a great offer out of the blue, I'd be a fool not to listen"...

and

"Hi, is the president in? This is Zac. No, just Z-A-C. No K. Yes I'll hold. Just tell him I'm looking to put in my application. Something in the athletics department would be preferable, but I'll take anything."

PS FUCKKK COHEN.

He's now been elevated above Loaferz in my hate book. Man, seriously, **** that guy. He's the one guy I really will boo if he ever shows his face here again.

He didn't just move on peacefully and go about living his best life. No, he's purposely ******* his alma mater and the ones that took a chance and gave him his first AD job.

In this case, Armstrong was the obvious candidate no matter who the AD was. He came to us from Auburn, and honestly from his perspective, this is the perfect time to move on to another job. Auburn has better soccer history than us (not recently though) and much easier access to fertile Georgia and Florida recruiting grounds. I think we'll be OK with Zimmerman, and it seems pretty clear we were going to lose either Armstrong or Zimmerman anyway, so it sucks but not as bad as it could have.

Yeah yeah, I know... I'm still pissed at him. Not that he gives a **** what MSU alumni think.
