"Pure, unadulterated?" You mean with all of the ringers through the years?LLWS was one of the remaining pure, unadulterated, (whatever you like here) sport events I enjoyed watching, and then, MLB got involved. Can't recall if it was last year or the year before. That ended it for me. I watched a half of an inning this weekend while surfing and I thought some calls by the plate ump were questionable. OTOH, the pitcher and catcher in that short time were beyond anything I've seen before. The pitcher could move the ball in/out/up/down and the catcher was all over the space behind the plate, and one time, not even behind the plate but off to the side. {Sigh}
How far back would you say that was happening?"Pure, unadulterated?" You mean with all of the ringers through the years?
Like when Taiwan was whooping everyone."Pure, unadulterated?" You mean with all of the ringers through the years?
People always think of age when they think of cheating, but the bigger gray area is where the players live and where they play. That crap has been going on for years….I saw it first hand when my son played. We did not play in a Little League sanctioned league, but there was one in town and they pushed the envelope every year. Some areas have gotten really good at it which is why they keep showing up in the regionals or Williamsport all the time.How far back would you say that was happening?
