Pat Forde:
COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- These people are not ready for the Southeastern Conference. Texas A&M's ghastly collapse against Oklahoma State on Saturday was not greeted with shrieks of outrage from the 87,358 fans in Kyle Field. From field level at the final gun, there was no visible rending of garments or gnashing of teeth -- to the contrary, the Aggies fans politely clapped for their players as they jogged to the locker room. I didn't hear a single call to fire the coach, fire the coordinators, fire the athletic director, yank anyone's scholarship or waterboard the officials.

That lack of murderous intent is not going to get it done in the SEC, Aggies.

...what with the AD comment and all. He could be smarmy, smart alecky, and snide with those comments and get several fan bases at once. Multi-tasking.

bottle at a terrible official. Too bad that has never been done before... sure made us look classless and all since no other school has ever thrown anything at an official EVER.**

..let aTm get beat by Kentucky or Vanderbilt, or by some ****** OOC school, & then your College Station epicenter of good manners & class acts will be showing you & the other ******* sports reporters all the rending of garments & gnashing of teeth you can handle.

I mean, I know everyone here thinks he has a hatred towards our Alma Mater, and maybe history does show that... but this comment was hardly a veiled backhand at us!

TSUN and UGA have been front and center this year with alums/fans/groups calling for the heads of their coaches...

We are simply underwhelmed at the 2-2 record, which, most on here would have bet the house on anyway. Yes we played like crap this weekend, and yes the playcalling was questionable, but didn't you expect a letdown? This game had trap written all over it.

Now if we repeat this performance on Saturday, then you can be worried.

Relax!
