I'm setting this up a few hours in advance, so that everyone has the details.

Please use the thread for all pre-match, in-match, and post-match discussion for the PSU - Maryland dual.

Max Dean and Lucas Cochran weighed in at 197 for PSU, so there's a chance that Cochran will wrestle. Maryland is bumping up a 184 lber to wrestle 197.

Steen has not had many easy matches. Braxton Brown is ranked #15

Per 1
After some time, a stall warning against Steen. End. Not much action

Per 2
Steen takes neutral. Brown works an underhook but can't get a leg on a shot. Brown with most of the shots. Brown in on a leg, nothing. Steen in on a single but the buzzer sounds before he can get anything. End

Per 3
Brown takes bottom. Brown to his feet, returned, back up and out, 0-1. Stoppage for blood time for Brown. 1 min left. Steen sort of shoots on a low single. Steen shoots a single, they scramble, Brown does a split, and OOB with 20 sec. Steen shoots, nothing. He shoots again and a stall warning on Brown, but the buzzer sounds. End. 0-1, DEC, for Brown

133: RBY vs. King Sandoval (KS)

Per 1
Quick TD for RBY, 2-0. KS with an esc, 2-1. RBY in on a single, elevates, and gets the TD, 4-1. RBY working a 2-on-1 tilt, gets 1 swipe but nothing more. Esc for KS, 4-2. RBY with a quick TD and KS with an esc, 6-3. RBY in on a single and gets the TD, 8-3. RBY cuts him, 8-4. RBY in on a single and gets the TD, 10-4. He cuts him, 10-5. A stall warning on KS. KS in on a single, RBY sprawls, and then he jumps over and gets the TD, 12-5, and then cuts KS, 12-6. RBY in on a single and gets behind for a late TD, 14-6. End. RT @ 1:09 for RBY.

Per 2
RBY takes neutral. RBY shoots a single, and gets behind for the TD, 16-6. An esc for KS, 16-7. RBY grabs a leg and sweeps the opposite leg for the TD, 18-7, and he cuts him, 18-8. RBY with a quick TD 20-8, and then he cuts him, 20-9. RBY with a single and then cuts KS, 22-10. KS tried a throw, nothing. End.

Per 3
KS takes bottom. RBY gives a neutral start, so it's 22-11. Another TD and cut, 24-12. KS tries a throw and has an ankle, RBY sprawls, and gets free. RBY with a TD, 26-12. He eventually cuts him, 26-13. RBY with another TD gets the 28-13 TF @ 6:45

At times when RBY is doing a TD clinic, it's impossible to accurately describe all of them. They happen so quickly, and he uses some unique moves. For example, how would you do PBP for this in real time?

141: Beau Bartlett vs. Kal Miller (KM)

Per 1
Not a lot of action thru 2 min. Bartlett shoots a single, loses it, nothing. End

Per 2
Bartlett takes bottom. He's to his feet and grabs a leg. Stall warning on Miller. Return and then Bartlett gets around for the reversal, 2-0. End. RT @ 18 sec for Miller

Per 3
KM takes bottom. KM to his feet, returned. Bartlett rides him for about a minute and then an esc for KM, 2-1. KM shoots, and Bartlett with a counter for the TD, 4-1. RT goes over 1 min for Bartlett, and Bartlett cuts him, 4-2. End. With 1:05 in RT, it's a 5-2 DEC for Bartlett

149: Shayne Van Ness vs. Ethan Miller (EM)

Likely the best matchup of the dual

Per 1
Van Ness gets behind for a TD, 2-0. EM gets away, 2-1. EM with a head inside single, after a bit he picks up on the leg, and after a flurry EM gets the TD, 2-3. Van Ness escapes, 3-3. Van Ness with a double for a TD to the back but EM rolls thru, 5-3. End. RT @ 42 sec for Van Ness

Per 2
EM takes bottom. Van Ness flattens him, and RT goes over 1 min. EM sits out but Van Ness stays with him. Van Ness traps the arm and tilts him and gets 4 NF, 9-3. Stall warning on EM. End. A rideout. RT @ 2:42 for Van Ness

Per 3
Van Ness takes bottom. He's out quickly, 10-3. Stoppage for interlocking fingers. RT is locked. Van Ness shoots, EM blocks him. Van Ness with a double leg for a TD, 12-3. Stalemate with 36 sec left. EM with an esc, 12-4. Van Ness with a TD to the back is 2+4. End. With 3+ in RT it's a 19-4 TF @ 7:00 for Van Ness. Wow

157: Levi Haines vs. Kevin Schork

Per 1
Haines shoots, nothing. Haines in on a single, a scramble, and he gets the TD, 2-0. Haines tilts him on the edge, and they go OOB, 6-0. Haines with an optional start and Schork with the esc, 6-1. Haines with a TD to the back and gets the pin @ 1:42!!!

19-3, PSU

I know Michael North is Maryland's normal starter, and Schork was 0-8, but that was an annihilation.

Per 1
Facundo with a low single for a TD and they go OOB, 2-0. Cordio with an esc, 2-1. Cordio shoots a double but Facundo sprawls, nothing. Facundo from an underhook to a TD, 4-1, and OOB. Cordio to his feet and he's out, 4-2. Facundo in a single to a double for a TD, 6-2. Facundo tries to lock a cradle but can't get it. Cordio with an esc, 6-3. Cordio with a shot but Facundo with a counter for a TD, 8-3. End. RT @ 56 for Facundo

Per 2
Facundo takes bottom. Facundo to his feet and after a bit is out, 9-3. They go OOB. Facundo with a duck and gets behind, 11-3. He cuts him, 11-4. Cordio shoots a double, Facundo sprawls. Then Facundo pushes down on the head and spins behind for the TD, 13-4, and a cut, 13-5. Facundo with a quick TD, 15-5. End. RT @ 1:44 for Facundo

Per 3
Cordio takes bottom. Tries to lock a cradle but then works a half (or just a lock around the head; not sure) and turns him, and gets the fall @ 5:38!!! Facundo's 1st collegiate pin.

174: CStar vs. Dominic Solis (DS)

Per 1
CStar with a quick TD and then an esc, 2-1. CStar gets behind for a TD, 4-1 as they go OOB. CStar with a neutral start makes it 4-2. Stall warning on CStar, which the crowd doesn't agree with. CStar in on a leg, they scramble, but a stalemate. Caution on CStar on the restart. CStar with a head outside single, DS grabs an ankle, the TD is awarded to CStar and stopped for PD. Maryland throws a brick, as they don't think it was a TD. Call is confirmed, so it's 6-2. DS gets out late, 6-3. CStar with a late shot and nearly the TD, but nothing.

Per 2
DS takes bottom. He sits out, CStar stays with him. RT goes over 1 min for CStar. Stalemate with 1:03 left. Option start, and CStar pushes him away for the esc, 6-4. DS with a bit of a shot, and CStar sprawls. CStar grabs a leg and gets the TD and they they are OOB with 24 sec left, 8-4. Neutral start for an esc, 8-5. CStar drives in, gets the late TD, 10-5. RT @ 1:29 for CStar

Per 3
CStar takes bottom. He's to his feet, to his knee, to his feet again, and he's out, 11-5. RT still over 1 min for CStar. CStar with a TD and a cut, 13-6. 1 min left. OOB with 57 sec. CStar in on the legs and stall warning on DS, as they go OOB with 36 sec. A flurry, but nothing. With 1:11 in RT, it's a 14-6 MAJ for CStar

Per 1
Around the 2 min mark, Ball with a double leg for the TD, 2-0. KM to his feet and driven down. OOB with 28 sec left. KM up and he's out, 2-1. Stoppage for something; not sure what. Ball in on another double and gets a late TD, 4-1. RT @ 47 sec for Ball

Per 2
Ball takes bottom. He works to his feet and scurries away, 5-1. Ball in on a single, and gets the TD, 7-1. KM to his feet, and gets away, 7-2, before they go OOB with 45 sec left. Ball with a shot and gets the TD, 9-2. KM to his feet but can't get away before the buzzer. End. RT @ 1:06 for Ball

Per 3
KM takes bottom. He's up after a bit and out, 9-3. KM in on a leg, Ball sprawls, then Ball with a whizzer and they go OOB with 1:15 left. Ball with a head outside single, elevates the leg, KM dives thru, and a stalemate with 24 sec. KM shoots, Ball tries to counter. End. With 1:21 in RT, it's a 10-3 DEC for Ball.

285: Seth Nevills vs. Jordan Gabriel (I think; PSU Wrestling twitter listed Jordan Gabriel as the wrestler, but Byers said it was Jaron Smith. I checked Maryland Wrestling twitter, and they also indicated is was Jordan Gabriel)

Per 1
Nevills with a TD to the back, and gets the pin @ 1:56!!!!

Final: 44-3, PSU

PSU wins the B1G Regular Season Championship
