hey Mr. Byers, Edsell has gotten more than one minute riding time. How many points is that worth? Sincerely, MD TV announcer

Byers again says Berge is expected to "take the starting job at 165" before adding that Edsell is wrestling really well and that it is "not a given."

Byers says a week from Sunday, possibly, for Berge. Says again that expectation is 165 if he beats out Edsell.
165 is loaded this year. Hopefully he drops to 157 for Big Tens and Nationals. Much better chance to score points for us and possible AA at 157.

Greg,
We need Berge at 157. 165 is really loaded. Maybe he’s planning on dropping. Gotta have his points at 157. Guess will see.

I’m curious why we haven’t seen Manville in tbe lineup. Still focused on Greco? He wrestled tough for us, usually wrestling up a weight or two.
I assume he hasn’t won the starter’s job. I see him on the bench, which at least means he’s in the consideration set if needed.

Give credit to Solis for hanging tough vs. CStar. He wisely did not kick Carter in the nuts, which is what I think occurred last match when he went on a mad tear.

Brooks looked outstanding. He has a very tough match on Sunday. Think it’s the 8th ranked guy from Indiana.

Byers says during the Barraclough match that they think Negron can be a threat to score points at nationals, FYI, as it relates to the Berge/165 deal.
