Penn State professor advances to round 2 on Jeopardy

Hester Blum, professor of English, has advanced to the next round of the Jeopardy! Professors Tournament. Although Hester did not win her quarterfinal match, she did earn enough to secure a wildcard berth in the second of the tournament’s three upcoming semifinal matches that will air TONIGHT, December 14. If she wins her match, she will then compete against the two other semifinal winners in the two-night final beginning Thursday, December 16.

Watched last night, Hester Blum did not win. As I remember she got a Daily Double wrong, which cost her a lot money and a shot at winning. The winner was in position to win if she bet 0 on Final Jeporady. The other two could not catch her unless she pulled a Cliff Claven.
