Pegula could start some positive momentum by signing, but he won’t.
Why, because it's not an Ice rink? I believe a certain person that has a library named after him because of his philanthropy. Not based on his own or his family wanting to be recognized.

I think the only way that happens is if a single rich donor or a collective buy the naming rights. The timing would be perfect for the new or renovated stadium .

Apropos of nothing, I was shopping at a Costco in Frisco, Texas a few years ago with my son-in-law and my little granddaughter. She was singing that song at the top of her lungs way off key. (The kid takes after her grandpa.
) I pulled out the handy-dandy iPhone to record her performance and she goes totally silent. Some day I'll tell her this story and she'll not believe a word of it. Good times. OK! we name the field -- Paterno Field at Beaver Stadium. This would be quite an honor, but would only be mentioned during games within the stadium most likely.
I propose for the umpteenth time rename Curtin Road between Porter and University Drive as -- The Paterno Way. In addition, Beaver Stadium's address would become 409 The Paterno Way. Therefore Joe would be honored on every piece of mail sent from from the athletic/EMS offices. Above the South Tunnel (player entrance on game days), would read -- Success with Honor.
