I heard Steve Jones talk about Philadelphia being 2-11 in finals since some year so I did some research and found that since 1976:

Eagles 1-3 in Super Bowls
Phillies 2-4 in World Series
Flyers 0-6 in Stanley Cup Finals
Sixers 1-4 in NBA Finals
4-17 since 1976. Any explanation for the lack of a better record?

Same dude starts a thread about Philadelphia fans and Philadelphia sports teams. Obviously the Eagles in the Super Bowl pushed him over the edge.

The problem OBVIOUSLY. o_O is the opponents also wanting to win. Without that, Philly team records might be better.

He is a Pittsburgh fan, whose teams are currently stuck in mediocrity. Maybe the Penguins can threaten to move to Kansas City again, and the NHL will rig the draft like in 2005.
