I know there is a courtyard marriot right across the street from the baseball field and aquarium. Chattanooga really did their downtown right and it is a great place to hang out.<div>
</div><div>There is an older hotel down there too that is supposed to be really cool (and haunted, i think). Reed House or something like that.</div><div>
</div><div>And of course the old standby, the Holiday Inn at Chattanooga Choo Choo - but it seems to be too far away from the riverwalk area unless you want to drive and park or take a cab.</div><div>
</div><div>My favorite place to eat is the Big River Grille and Brewery. I have also heard great things about Terminal Brew House.

Definitely stay away from the Choo Choo. Lobby and courtyard is nice and interesting, but the rooms are horrible. I don't think they have updated their rooms since 1978. Plus, its too far from the river area / bars / restaurants.<div>

Nice, fairly new hotel, and short walking distance to restaurants and bars downtown.<div>
</div><div>Also, that glass bridge/walkway over the river is pretty cool.</div>

We stayed there for a couple nights, and went to Lookouts game and the usual suspects. It was a great hotel.
