If you are of an age, you will never forget when you first heard Stairway and when you first heard Layla. I actually give props to Plant. He said he didn’t feel a connection to Stairway since he didn’t write the music. He has said that it belongs to a young man and it’s best left with the time when it was created. Plant is a fascinating man, kind of a traveling minstrel who seeked to absorb and understand the culture whether it was New Orleans or the desert of Cairo and everything in between.

I was not a huge fan of Led Zep but I respect their craft. Obviously, they ended with the death of JB, I always wondered if they would have continued much beyond that time anyway.

I hope he enjoyed revisiting it even for just one night.
