Didn't get to watch live but heard the monologue bombed - hard. But, also saw a lot of my personal favorites won (Emma Stone, Jeremy Allen White, Cillian Murphy, 'Succession', Robert Downey, Jr., Paul Giamatti, 'The Bear') and wow, did the stars come out in a way they haven't in quite a few years (Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, Harrison Ford, Oprah, Selena Gomez, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence). If you use the GG as a predictive device for the Oscars, it's all about Oppenheimer. Anyway, the ladies took the opportunity to doll up with white/silver being the theme and my favorites are below - pick your top three and/or drop a write-in; certainly a bunch of others were worthy.

🥇 - Jennifer Lawrence - She just looks so effortless and really, really pretty here. The black is a nice contrast for her skin tone and hair and the bling is well appointed.

🥈 - Emma Stone - Always elegant and knows colors that look good on her; the fresh hair cut done simply is just easy enough for this kind of event. I do like the cheeky front split in her dress too.

🥉 - Rosamund Pike - Absolutely went for it with the fascinator and posh goth look; her voice and accent are so soothing too. She was my favorite thing about Saltburn.

Robbie and Olsen round out the starting five.

IMHO, it is Margo Robbie and the contest is between everyone else for second place. She is like Secretariat at the Belmont for "Who's the Hottest" Golden Globes edition. If you change it to "Who's the Sweetest/approachable/nicest/cutest/prettiest" there is a case. But "hottest?" Robbie and it isn't close IMHO>

She is one of the rare actors to act in a James Bond film, (Die Another Day) and a spoof a James Bond film (Johnny English Reborn).

One of the other actors to do so? Rowan Atkinson in Never Say Never Again and Johnny English Reborn.

1 - Jennifer - sometimes the simple look is best and she nails it here.

2 - Brie - I really wasn't aware of her until the last year or so and she has grown on me. This might not be her best look, but it's good enough for me! Like Jennifer, not over doing it with dress, hair, or makeup.

3 - Margot - if she would remove the frilly stuff on her arms, she would be competing with Jennifer for the top spot.

None of them were favorites - they were all on the same level, and I did not care for them. Not one of them appealed to me more than any other.

I see that a few of you have voted for Rosamund Pike. I have no idea who she is (not a big movies or musics fan) and in this picture posted, she looks like somebody going to a funeral.

Found this picture somewhere else ... looks much better (obviously not at the Golden Globes though).

Now we are talking, the hell with Football talk for a minute :), maybe it's just me, but I don't think Taylor Swift is all that good looking, definitely the bottom of this group.

I found it impossible to focus on a favorite look and voted instead for the women who are my favorites to look at in general: Margot, Brie, Dua. If I could’ve squeezed Kate in there as well, I would have done so.

That's my top three as well, although Dua Lipa looked really good, too. I think Jennifer Lawrence deserves extra credit. For Chrissake, she's a mom. (To be more precise, she's a MILF.)

I agree with the poster who opined that Taylor Swift is no goddess. But I have to say that she did pretty well with that dress. It complemented her very well. Great side boob in that dress, which is evident from other photos of her in it.
