We got Lactation Pods being set up at the Beav.

That's nice.
  • A new sensory room with rubber walls, located behind Section SF, has been added as a quiet space designed to accommodate fans with sensory issues when they feel overwhelmed and overstimulated.
  • Access to the room is free to fans of all ages. 🙆‍♂️

Grandson voted in as leader of the Blue Band Mellophone section.
Similar to the "good news about PSU" that I came here to say. We were waiting to hear all summer whether my son's professor, whose class conflicts with Blue Band practice, would relent and allow him to miss class once per week. Two days before camp started, son got the approval and will be able to march this year.

Son's major is very regimented in regards to which classes are taken which semester. Taking that class a different semester was not an option.

He's also in the mellos.

Good news about PSU is that my daughter only has one class today and the rest of the Fridays this semester. I taught her well. ✌️
I was thinking about that. Isn’t it better to have 1 class on Monday since Sunday everyone is to hungover to study? You can still have a bunch of classes on Friday and hit cafe by 3pm for iced teas etc. is that still where people go? Or is the skellar still the place at 3pm.

I last visited University Park a couple of years ago. I wanted to see the Flight 93 Memorial and while there I realized I was within easy driving time to State College. I called and booked a room at the Atherton Hotel and headed there that evening. I'm a 1970 graduate of EMS and I was told that I wouldn't recognize campus but guess what? The EMS area on the west part of campus had hardly changed at all from the late 60s and it was like hitting a time warp. It brough back such wonderful memories. I wish it were autumn to add that color and the decay aroma of the fallen autumn leaves.......that was asking too much. I also ate dinner in the Corner room and nothing seemed to change there nor was the Phyrst much different. It was one of, if not the best impromptu visits of my life
