Because it's more fun than waiting a day or two to post something rational.

Chris Relf- I hate to make excuses, but I would have to think that getting stopped at the one inch line against Auburn and mauled vs LSU may have hurt his confidence. IF that theory is true, I hope he gets some confidence back after he was able to throw the game winning TD. Or maybe he saw La Tech on the schedule and smoked too much pot.

The o-line needs Carmon back- BAD. Him running neck and neck with Clausell was obviously coachspeak.

What is going on with our playcalling? Ridiculous. It's like Dan or Les or Rockey or whoever else is calling the plays is trying to see if they can win a game with Chris Relf running QB draws the whole game. Get more people involved- especially Bumphis, Heavens, Perkins, and etc. The fake punt was stupid- because of the part of the field that we were on. If it's the 50, I could have tolerated that better.

I might be in the minority, but I thought our defense did a good job. Yes, they came out vanilla, but they started to put pressure on the QB and do some things and they held La Tech to 20 points. And some of those points were because Dan decided to try a fake punt, and I believe we gave up some points after Relf's INT. Banks came up with a couple of huge interceptions.

Other than the kickoff guy, we won special teams tonight- Bumphis returned a punt for a TD, we recovered a fumble on a muffed punt, and Swedenberg and DePasquale did a good job. Only miscue was the fake punt and kicking the ball out of bounds, and the first was on Dan.

I'll go ahead and say it- it was nice to win even though we played like crap. This is my first time to see us beat La Tech. I've seen us beat everyone in the SEC, but until tonight, La Tech was my Moby Dick. I actually sort of felt bad for La Tech- it's brutal to play tit for tat with a SEC team on the road, and then your QB throws a critical INT in front of the La Tech section, and then we score the winning TD in front of their section as well. It was fun for me, though. I will say this- I will be pulling for them from here on out. Maybe they can get to a bowl. If this was Genespage, I would also talk about how classy their fans were. But it's not- and I didn't come across any of their fans until I ate at a Wendy's at Lousiville.

What's weird is even though we won, I feel worse about our football team. We just have so many holes. I still think we finish 6-6. I don't know if we will beat Georgia, but I also wouldn't be shocked to see us play well next week. I think losing to Auburn and LSU has just messed us up psychologically. Maybe this is what turns it around. Who know?

I also would like to see us try to get back to running the kind of spread offense that we did in 09/10.
