We want better players than Miami of Ohio level. If that makes me and other who think the same miserable, then we are miserable.
Surely you can see the value of Potter as a 3rd string Center. I understand wanting the best players - or for some the highest rated high school players in the one or more recruiting rankings - but the two things are not mutually exclusive here. Potter is a true 7-footer who was well regarded in KY in high school and has since proven he can play at the college level and shoots it well for a Big from the perimeter. Yet he's willing to be a likely 3rd-string Center option for UK, when my guess would be he would likely be a starter at a lot of mid-majors. How can this be viewed as anything but positive and UK is lucky to have him (wouldn't likely have him if he were not from KY).

These responses are what I’m talking about when I say, no one wants to play or coach for us. Why would they? A hometown kid gets made fun of for being loyal and returning for a second year. Why would anyone want to be a part of such a miserable fanbase?
A hometown kid that has zero business on the roster. Sorta like another hometown kid. They’re not helping win games. I’d rather have a roster full of dudes from Brooklyn and win than some KY HS all star team.

I hate sentimental, "God's Plan," "I'll always bleed blue," I am staying or I am transferring posts. It's just narcissistic branding written by the agent's editor (or AI these days).

39% from 3 & being as tall as big z = being able to get his shot off without having to create one, now, as long as he doesn't hit a 3 & then give up 10 points on defense he'll be fine 🤣🤣
