Princeton Review's annual Top 368 Colleges publication is out which rank schools in various categories such as academics, admissions, PARTIES, Hard liquor, sports life, etc. Ole Miss is the #2 party school in the country behind Gatorland. Sad but true, MSU is not to be found on the list of 368. Its a damn national conspiracy. And for you inquiring minds, the ranking was based on surveys of 120,000 students on the 368 campuses.

maybe we didn't have time to fill out the lengthy survey because we are too busy studying.

The year I was at Millsaps I probably cilled more brain cells than the 4 years I subsequently had at State. Heck, you can even throw down at MC.</p>

Board realized you can only buy warm beer in Starkville stores and then had to go through 12 road blocks trying to find the best bars. Then only to leave those bars and go through another 14 road blocks. Then they all looked at each other and agreed to drop us 10 spots behind BYU.

*****. I haven't been back to Starkville in 8 1/2 years but will be in town for the Arkansas game. Looking forward to all the changes, especially the cold beer change. And of course, saying hello to the Starkville nazi police. Can't forget that fun loving group. And going to Flo & Eddies. Oh, wait, nevermind.

now that there's a drunk bus that will shuttle you from the Cotton District to the bars downtown. In other news...there are now bars downtown and Flo &Eddies burned down.

I am more concerned about our academic ranking than anything else. Drinking large quantities of alcoholic beverages and smoking pot really doesn't take much talent. I certainly enjoy the occasional adult beverage but this is a silly ranking than means very little.

based on former posts about "kids." 18-21 may pass as a "kid" but after 21 the "kid" label should be gone.

If you've ever been to Ole Miss or State, there's always a handful of 28-29 year olds who're there on the "Ten Year Plan". If I had enough money, or my parents were stupider, I would've.

"dumbass" and I might agree with you. I am not talking about non-traditional students or grad students. Technically, I was in college for 13 years while teaching and working, but I have Ph.D. to show for it. My point is that someone is not a kid at this age but an adult who makes bad decisions.

If dragging cops down the street and killing them gets you a #2 ranking as the biggest party school in America, they can have it.
