We are 3-3. I think we have played 2 weak SEC teams so far and yesterday was bigger loss considering what's coming.

@Arkansas
LSU
Auburn
@Ole Miss
@Missouri
Florida
@Texas A&M
Tennessee

11-19. With losing Sims & Simmons and last year's core leadership, this became a rebuilding year.

I think we're scrappy enough to not get swept. Arkansas has owned us, so I think we're due for a win there.

12 seems more likely than 15. Our staff is as thin as it has been in quite some time.

I do agree the rest of the SEC looks like a mess though. Especially past UT and Vandy.

Honestly have no idea. If we can't find some bodies who can consistently sit batters down in the late innings, it'll be a rough go, but I saw things to be positive about and this team will be a continual work in progress.

Right now will say 13-17 which is minimum needed for postseason. To make that happen though, we need another pitcher to step up in the midweek games. We can’t keep using Kohn, Auger, Fristoe, and Smith multiple innings in the midweek, and then expect them all to pitch effectively two games every weekend.

Bumpity Bump. I'm still the same. This weekend is huge if we can get a sweep.

We need to get some wins this weekend. Missouri isn't good (bottom of the SEC standings), but they aren't terrible (no one is in the SEC this year). It is an unusual situation where you are playing the bottom of the SEC AND have an opportunity to get wins vs. a decent RPI team (#38, higher than Texas Tech and Alabama for example). Also shows how flawed the RPI formula is.

Blowing game 1 vs. LSU threw off my record. I figured we'd go 3-3 between them & Auburn.

Going to be hard to make 15-15 at this point. Even if we get 3 great starts and score plenty of runs - I'm not sure our bullpen can close out 3 games to sweep anyone.

Mizzou is a challenge even though the record is poor.
