This, IMO, is the single best cold open and one of the best SNL skits ever. They just kill it.

I thought this was hilarious as a kid because of ‘balls.’ I find it even more hilarious as an adult and gets the spot on NPR impersonation.

I never understood why Taran Killam got run off the show. I loved the Jedidiah Atkinson skits.
Was he? He was sort of the last of his ‘class’ to leave; didn’t realize he was run out. Loved him in everything.
Didn't pick up his contract. He expected to be back. I thought he was the best on the show at the time, didn't understand it.
