I’m a casual fan but would watch this match if it were available on ESPN or other easy access place. Why is wrestling so inaccessible to casual viewers?

Excited to see what Facundo can give Carr. Don’t expect a win, but interested to see how he does.

Is Haines going again at 157? Is Barraclough hurt?

It’s not that easy for non-casual fans/media/otherwise high level observers to get, either. I mean, don’t get me wrong it’s not rocket science but signing up for Rofkin then getting the PPV in addition to the monthly subscription for two nights of matches is a bit much.

Anyway, broadcast is underway on LionVision with Byers.

As Cody said last night. Steen must get his offense going early. He waited back again in the 1st period.

I was rooting for Cabanban the other day - but now - well I'm just trying to keep composure with deep breathing exercises pulling for Steen. Mid second Steen down 3-0 with over 2 min RT for Bon-bon. Stall called on Steen, RT assured for Cabanban. End of 2...
Steen loses 4-0, IaSt up 3-0

125: Gary Steen vs. Corey Cabanban (I'll use CC)

Per 1
Lots of tie ups and such, but not much action early on. CC in on a head inside single, and after some work he gets the TD, 0-2. Steen tries a gramby but they go OOB. Steen to his feet on the restart, is tripped back down and OOB with 3 sec left. End. RT @ 35 sec.

Per 2
CC defers, and Steen takes bottom. Steen works up, then he hits a roll but they go OOB with 1:47 left. Steen tries a switch, then he hits, back to his knees. RT over 1 min for CC. With about 1 min left, CC flattens Steen. Steen works to his base, then to his feet, but they go OOB with 32 sec. left. Steen sits out, doesn't get away. End A rideout. RT @ 2:35 for CC

Per 3
CC takes bottom. CC stands, turns, and is out in 8 sec, 0-3. Steen nearly with a TD to the back, they roll, then CC grabs a leg and they scramble, and finally break apart with just under 1 min. They go OOB, and Steen is hit with a stall warning. RT is locked. Steen snaps the head down, in on a head outside single, CC reaches over and grabs an ankle, Steen tries to lock a cradle, doesn't get it, then Steen dives in as the period ends. Nothing. With RT, it's a 0-4 DEC for CC

133:
RBY vs. Ramazan Attasauov (I'll go with RA)

Per 1
RA tries a foot sweep early, and nearly caught RBY. RBY shoots multiple times, nothing. Stall warning on RA. End (Not many times RBY goes scoreless on his feet)

Per 2
RA takes bottom. RBY with a good ride, trips him down and they go OOB with 1:11 left. RA sits out, nothing. Stoppage with 42 sec. RA to his feet, returned to his knees. They battle, RBY tries to lock a cradle, and he turns him, and 2 NF at the end of the period. End RT @ 2:00 for RBY

Per 3
RBY takes bottom. RA cuts him quickly, 3-0. RBY in on a knee, gets behind for the TD, 5-0. RA to his feet, and RBY cuts him, 5-1. RA shoots, RBY sprawls. RT is locked. RBY in on the legs and gets a TD, 7-1. He cuts him, 7-2. Under 1 minute left. RA tries to shoot, RBY tries to counter. Under 30 sec. RA shoots, RBY counters for a TD, 9-2. 141:
Beau Bartlett vs. Zach Redding (I'll use ZR)

Per 1
I missed a bit at the beginning, but Beau came close to a TD. ZR tries a fireman's carry, BB grabs an ankle, and that's the end of the period. 0-0

Per 2
Bartlett takes down after ZR defers. BB to his feet, and he's out in 23 sec, 1-0. BB with a shot, nothing. BB with another semi-shot, nothing. BB snaps the head down, and gets the TD, 2-0. BB tried to turn him but ZR rolled through. End.

Per 3
ZR takes bottom. He's up quickly and out, 3-1. BB snaps the head down and circles behind for the TD, 5-1. OOB with 1:28 left. ZR to his feet and turns, and he's out, 5-2. RT not a factor. BB grabs a leg, and spins behind for the TD, 7-2. ZR is out, 7-3. BB tries to shoot, ZR counters, and there's a stoppage. An illegal hold on ZR is the cause of the stoppage, so it's 8-3. End. 8-3, DEC

I like what K Dresser is doing with the Cyclones. Not many opportunities to watch/ listen to them but in spite of what I read on HR, (wink/wink) Dresser is putting something special together. Johnson up on Van Ness now 3-2 in 3rd period.

149:
Shayne Van Ness vs. Paniro Johnson (I'll go with PJ)

Per 1
Lot's of battling, but nothing thru 1 min. Or thru 2 min. Or thru 3. End. 0-0

Per 2
Van Ness takes bottom. He's up and out in 9 sec, 1-0. PJ in on the left leg, Van Ness frees the leg, nothing. End. RT @ 9 sec for PJ

Per 3
PJ takes bottom. PJ after a battle is up and out, 1-1. Van Ness shoots, PJ with a counter of the TD, 1-3. Van Ness out quickly, 2-3. Van Ness shoots, PJ counters and he's in deep, but eventually Van Ness is away. 30 sec left. Van Ness shoots, PJ avoids it. Van Ness shoots, PJ sprawls. Van Ness shoots, PJ sprawls again. Van Ness shoots, nothing, and a stall warning on PJ with 8 sec left. End. 2-3, DEC for PJ.

Tough loss for Van Ness, especially with all the shots he took.

Levi Haines vs. Jason Kraisser (JK)

Per 1
Haines with a quick TD, 2-0. After about 30 sec, JK is out, 2-1. Haines shoots, nearly gets JK to the back but gets just the TD, 4-1. JK is out, 4-2. Haines in on a leg with @ 30 sec left, they scramble, nothing. End. RT @ 38 sec for Haines

Per 2
JK takes bottom. He sits out then turns and is away, 4-3. JK with underhooks, nothing. Haines in on a single, reaches across, then JK grabs an ankle and they scramble, pretty wild scramble, nothing as the whistle sounds. RT @ 43 sec for Haines

Per 3
He's up and out relatively quickly (19 sec), 5-3. Haines with a body lock and takes JK to his back but JK rolls thru, so it's just a TD, 7-3. OOB with 28 sec left. RT over 1 min. JK working up, but that's it. With 1:30 in RT, it's an 8-3 DEC for Haines.

Johnson is ranked 5th. At Nationals no way he gets away with stalling that much. SNV will beat him next time. He’s right there.
Sometimes you learn way more from a loss than a win. SVN has been making it look easy. This will help keep him focused and hungry.

Is anybody else frustrated by how easy some of our opponents get out from bottom on starts. I know it isn't easy to hold guys down but Bartlett and AF now guys get in within seconds.

Hard to tell from the radio.

Again, understandable and valuable loss. AF will benefit from this. Carr is a national champ for a reason. He is very good.

Yeah I wonder about this myself. I wonder if there isn't a line of reasoning that says, take 'em down and let 'em up and score score score...it's not the super bowl, let's learn from the experience, I dunno
