Byers pre-match interview with CS (summary of the question, then a summary of the answer preceded by a hyphen)

A really improving MSU program, and a really dangerous MSU game
- yeah, it's a good team. We have to wrestle every match. Just want to see the guys be tough and wrestle

Hildebrandt, and lessons he learned against Suriano
- even though he lost, it was a 1-pt loss, he's got to find a way to get off bottom; it's an opportunity, and you want to take advantage of opportunities and score points

Bearclaw
- we believe he has the ability; he just has to wrestle to win. He's going to try hard, but he has to go win the matches. That's not always easy; he needs to get a win to open up

Some dangerous kids at MSU in the upper weights
- they had 2 big wins against Rutgers. We weren't really surprised by that. We just have to wrestle and compete. We want to be the same person regardless of our opponent

I would definitely rest a few. There were extras that travel. Saw Seth Nevills was there and few others so hope they’re able to get a match in....

Don’t think we can sit a few out. Michigan State has a good team. Think RBY is the only guy sitting out. Wanted to see 133. Kid is tough from Michigan State.

cleaning the mat, so a delay. appears to be blood on DH. TL takes neutral. DH in on the legs and trips TL down for the TD, 4-0. DH can ride. TL nearly out by DH holds on at the buzzer.

Per 3
DH takes bottom. He's to his feet, but they go OOB. Restart, and OOB again. Restart, and OOB again. DH stands and is out, 5-0. RT @ 2:01 for DH, so it's locked. TJ shoots in on a single, DH with a whizzer, DH is dancing on one leg, and they go OOB with 35 sec left. TL shoots, DH sprawls, he tries to circle, and gets behind for the TD, 7-0. End. With 2:12 in RT, it's a 8-0 MAJOR for Hildebrandt

Ironhead says RBY will be back for Iowa

Per 1
Foley with a quick TD, 0-2. Shunk eventually up and out, 1-2. RF in on a single and gets behind for the TD, 1-4. End

Per 2
RF takes bottom. He works up and he's out, 1-5. RF in on another single and gets behind for the TD, 1-7. Shunk to his feet, turns and is out, 2-7. Shunk in on an ankle, then RF counters, then Shunk in, gets a TD, but it's waved off. End. RT @ 2:33 for RF

Per 3
Shunk takes bottom. RF working a 2-on-1 and nearly gets a tilt, nothing. 1 min left. RT is locked for Foley. Shunk to his feet, and out with little time left, 3-7. Shunk shoots a single to a double, nothing. End. With RT, it's a 3-8 DEC for Foley

Lee takes bottom. Lee stands, hips in, tries for a reversal but gets just the esc as they go OOB with 1:40 left, 5-1. Santos shoots, Lee sprawls, and a stalemate with 1:10 left. Blood time for Santos. Santos shoots a single off the restart, and a stalemate with 40 sec left. Lee snaps the head down and circles for the TD, 7-1. Santos to his feet, but the buzzer sounds. End. RT @ 1:56 for Lee

Santos takes bottom. Santos stands, back down, Santos tries to stand again, Lee works a tilt, and gets 2 NF, 9-1. Lee working a 2-on-1, and gets a tilt but Santos rolls through; 2 NF makes it 11-1. Collar ties a good bit for the 1st minute. Omania snaps down but they go OOB with 1:38 left. Headlock by PO but BB rolls through so nothing. End

Per 2
PO takes bottom. He's out quickly (like 3 sec), 0-1. Beau snaps the head down, nothing. Duck attempt by PO, blocked. Beau shoots but they go OOB with 46 sec left. Beau snaps the head and tries to shoot, blocked. End.

Per 3
Beau takes bottom. He's out quickly, 1-1. Another low scoring, close match for Beau. Beau in on a single and gets the TD, 3-1. Under 1 minute. OOB with 40 sec left. Caution on PO. Shoulder roll for the esc by PO, 3-2. Stall warning against Beau with 4 sec left as they go OOB. PO tries a late throw but Beau gets the TD; 2+2 to Beau makes it 7-2. End. DEC for Beau Bartlett.

Edit: I'm not sure if the 2 NF were awarded, so it might have been a 5-2 DEC.

Per 1
CS nearly with a TD on the edge as they go OOB, but after the refs converse nothing is awarded. Bearclaw nearly with a TD at the end but CS with a whizzer and nothing. End

Per 2
CS takes bottom. He's up, down to his knees. Bearclaw nearly with a tilt, nothing. Good battle. CS nearly with a reversal but gets the esc, 0-1, and then a stalemate. End. RT @ 1:12 for Bearclaw

Per 3
Bearclaw takes bottom. He works up, can't get to his feet, eventually Bearclaw works a reversal, 2-1. CS out, 2-2. Quite a flurry of action. RT @ 49 sec for Bearclaw so not a factor. CS shoots, in on a single, they scramble. End. Wild at the end.

Bearclaw snaps down, gets in on a leg, CS with a whizzer, Bearclaw elevates the leg, they scramble, and CS gets the TD. Damn. 2-4 DEC for Chase Saldate. Great effort by Bearclaw.

Per 1
CStar with a standing cradle, but just gets the TD, 2-0. Then Jimenez gets a reversal, 2-2. Official review under way for riding time. Taking some time to review. On the restart, CStar with the esc, 3-2. CStar with an ankle pick for a TD, 5-2. CStar cuts him, 5-3. CStar with a quick TD, 7-2, and stoppage for an injury to Jimenez. He's going to continue. CStar chooses bottom on the restart. CStar to his knees, sits out, and then gets a reversal, 9-3. CStar works a tilt, and gets 4 NF, 13-3. CStar with another title, Jimenez rolls through but it's 2 NF, 15-3. End.

A We Are chant breaks out, lol. Brooks working a front headlock, and a stalemate with 1:21 left. Brooks in, LM working a whizzer, Brooks elevates the egg, LM does a split, they are on the edge, and Brooks can't get the far leg before the buzzer. End

Per 2
LM takes bottom. He's to a 4-pt stance, then to his knees, then back to his feet, they hit the mat, LM tries a switch, then Brooks locks a cradle but can't turn him, and they go OOB with 1:11 left. Brooks tries to work a tilt, then LM tries to spin around for a reversal, wild scramble, and LM is back flat. Nice wrestling. End. A rideout. RT @ 2:00 for Brooks

#2 vs. #15 -- another challenge for Dean this weekend.

Per 1
Dean in on a leg, nothing. Dean in on the leg again, has CC dancing on one leg, can't trip him, tries to reach for the other leg, and a stalemate with 1:04 left. Dean driving in on the edge. End

Per 2
Dean takes bottom. He battles up and out, 1-0. Dean in on a single, to a double, but CC with good D, and they go OOB with 1:27 left. CC in on a single, and CC gets the TD, 1-2.
