Can Carmon effectively pull fromtheguardposition? <div>I'm sure he was fast enough to do this in HS when the backs where not as quick off the ball. I have a hard time seeing him getting down the line nowadays. </div><div>Is he too big now to do this? Not to mention he has a knee. </div><div>
</div><div>
</div>

I was asked this by a naturally blond cheerleader once.........

Not a keyboard coach, but I did play offensive line on a public school football team in Jackson. Carmon will not pull, but he will take on the UGA noseguard and perhaps pull a very discreet Chad Ramsey block from time to time.

And as a rule of thumb- DL are better athletes than OL guys- so you would think Carmon has some agility

But as the other poster said- we are putting Carmon at G to help the Center manhandle the NG- and force Georgia to have to help inside with their LB's and pinch their DT's inside alot. If we can get them pinching the DT's inside, that will help give us a better alley to run outside of the tackle as well

Also- true option teams like AF and Ga Tech put their best drive blockers at G and their quicker linemen at T to help double team with the G and to chase LB's
