Question for old-time pre-BIG 10 Penn State road trip warriors - do you miss the old foes & trips?

All the best to her. My wife and I do water colors and acrylics, favoring the latter. We've each done about 20 since we started 5 years ago. Basic stuff. Outdoor scenes mostly. We love it.
We do the painting and guitar together and I might suggest that you join your wife in painting. The end result is not important. The joy is in the effort and in doing it together.

I would assume it would be daunting to handle college level material when you can barely walk, talk and are soiling yourself. Was her first painting a Jackson Pollock in her diaper?

For years we told everybody she was 29. Then 1 turned 25 and it got weird. We bumped it to 39, all good. Moogster why so serious every hour, every day?

Your guess of 50 years is very close, but low, I believe.

An October trip to West Point is as much or more for the beauty of the area than the game itself.

Decided to look it up. The last time we played at Annapolis was 9/22/1973 for a 39-0 win. The last trip to West Point was 10/5/1974 which we won 21-14. We also had Navy at home that year and won 7-6. Fire Franklin!

Years ago I went to a game at the old Pitt stadium. Our tickets were in row 8. We started from the concourse level, and walked down row by row, til we got to our seats in the front row.

Yes, Row 8 was the front row. Only Pitt would start numbering from the back.

Question for old-time pre-BIG 10 Penn State road trip warriors - do you miss the old foes and trips? We have West Virginia coming up as a road trip in 2024 I believe, but namely back then: Syracuse, Boston College, Army, Navy. Do you miss those making those trips and what were your likes/dislikes about those trips?

For me, compared to Big Ten stadiums and locations, those old opponents and venues were 3rd rate. BC - Ugh, Carrier Dome, Army, Navy -meh, Ugh, Pitt - Double ugh. Of all of them West Virginia had a decent atmosphere for a college game day. Nothing comparing to Big Ten venues though. Not close.
