I knew him at State. He was a super nice guy, really well liked and I am very saddened to here this. We had a lot of fun conversations and he always had a smile and time for his fellow students. I can still hear the roar from the stadium when he would enter a game and the accompanying cheer "give em hell Robert Bell". We lost a good one...R.I.P. big fellow.

Such a great cheer. Too bad I wasn't there to hear that. The first MSU games I remember going to were in '73 after he played.
