Discuss: Georgia Tech Head Baseball Coach, Danny Hall
Would this be a good choice for MSU?

After advancing to the Championship round of the Athens regional this season, National seed and Host UGA defeated Coach Hall's Yellow Jackets twice in a row to end their season at 41-21 (16-14).

After 15 seasons at GT, Coach Halls record stands at 652-294 (242-137) with 4 regular season ACC Championships and 3 tournament championships. During his 15 seasons at the helm, GT has advanced to the NCAA Regionals a total of 13 of 15 years, to a super regional 5 times in the current format, and 3 trips to the CWS (best finish runner-up)

Anybody outside of Raffo is a plus in my book. Anybody but Raffo is gonna create some excitement, anticipation, and even leave a little to wonder and hope for. With Raffo you know what you are getting and it will create no excitement, no anticipation.

Sorry if this has been discussed but what about Tom Walter at University of New Orleans? He looks pretty solid and does a LOT with very little. I realize this is cherry picking but he did take 2 of 3 from LSU this year and the one he lost to them went 15 innings. Last year they tied their record for wins of 38 and this year I think they were something like 44-20. Been to the NCAAs the last 2 years. Also his first two years (he's in his 4th I believe) were getting through the Katrina situation. I'm not saying he's the guy but I think he is someone to keep an eye on. Plus I would rather have him than Raffo.
