My god that fake punt call. What made it more shocking was the TV caught Franklin saying punt it. No one was expecting that.

The fake punt will get all the attention, but there were two more conversions after that. Credit to the offense for staying focused and grinding out a near 6 minute drive.

there’s just something absolutely deflating in the psychology of a defense when they know that the other team is going to go for it on fourth down, no matter what.

The WRs actually showed up at spots, but Drew absolutely looks for Warren whenever he panics or it’s 3rd down.

Did we really forget that Allen was on the team until the 3rd quarter? The announcers seemed to say that we did.

Carter gets all the talk, but Durant is quietly becoming a real problem for offenses. Agent 0 is also having a quietly good season.

My god that fake punt call.

I 100% think this is a game they lose in past seasons. It makes me hopeful that they’re finally learning.

You have to give Franklin and the staff mad props. They played to win. A real punt there and I think PSU is 9-2 today. Same goes for the other late 4th down conversions. Keep the ball and run out the clock. Win the game.

The explanation for why Allar came off the field p.o. was not the decision to punt, but Minny calling his cadence on the play. I don't think I have ever seen him that angry ..........
Drew Allar fumed on the visiting sideline Saturday evening as Penn State found itself trailing by one point late in the third quarter at Minnesota.

With Minnesota’s defense shouting Allar’s cadence and Penn State center Nick Dawkins unsure if it was Allar or those across from him telling him to snap the ball, Penn State’s fourth-and-9 pooch punt left the quarterback agitated. Allar ripped off his chinstrap, turned around and shouted as he hit the sideline.
