No doubt many of us have had issues with his play in big games, however none of us can doubt his toughness, moxie, love for PSU, his teammates, and coaches. Win or lose, he was always willing to face the press and answer questions. I hope those of you in attendance will give him a positive resounding applause for his time @ PSU. There should be no negativity on Senior Day.

I think absolutely everyone will... Love his effort, my only issue has been the untimely turnovers, I think we have hit the ceiling with him and to me Allar has a much higher ceiling and I would like him to get meaningful reps to build for next year. No one can question Cliffords effort and will to win.

Señor Day?

Besides, isn‘t Clifford coming back next year?
I saw the thread title and thought Cliff was using his umpteenth year of eligibility to transfer to THE Ohio State University to play under that "quarterback whisperer," Senor Day!

Please note the word "moxie" has previously been trademarked.

the one real value add with Sean was his running. this year he has not used that as much because we have more options. However, when he runs, it stops the DEF from running some of the schemes that have hurt us. Sean has just not chosen the run option as much. as a runner he is better than Drew, but not as a passer.

For a guy who everyone loves to trash and wanted benched from day one he has lead this team most thought was an 8 win team to 10 wins and a likely #8 ranking after yesterday.

Winning CFB games is hard. Real hard. Just look at yesterday.

And for all of you poo poo’ers who want to hit the reply button and tell everyone how they lost to “the only two good teams they played” and that the season is meaningless we have already heard it as nauseam for weeks. We don’t need to hear it again. We should all be happy about the pleasant surprise this season has been and for Clifford’s leadership and play this year.

I was disappointed that Franklin didn’t call a time-out in the final minute and substitute Clifford out…..would have been a classy thing to do.

So happy that he had a great game yesterday. For those that wondered about the late long TD pass, nothing else to it except MSU had been crowding the line-of-scrimmage the entire second half. The play was there for the taking.

Perhaps he wasn't sure that everyone would do the right thing? The footage of the way he was received by every one including Pat Kraft and his teammates after the game is proof of what those close to the program think of him.
