What any rationale person knew to be true has been 1st person corroborated: the accuser admits 18 years later that it was all a lie.

Coach lost his job. Season was canceled. People were ready to have a public execution for those players.

A certain group of people (nothing to do with race) , and the media, will LIE, LIE, LIE, to advance a political narrative... or witch hunt....

I did some further digging on this and the DA was essentially forced to resign, he was disbarred, jailed, (for 1 measly day), and bankrupted.
All these years later, the same group of people are still at it, they're just telling different lies now......

Me too!!!!! I believed it for a week or two then "saw the light" as some may say. Sad for those coaches, players, and fans. (even if I do LOATHE that school)

The 30 for 30 about the scandal, Fantastic Lies, is really good. I watched it with my teenage son as a cautionary tale about the dangers of putting yourself in vulnerable situations. Thankfully, the players' families had the resources to hire a competent legal team.
