Retro logo help

I'm trying to restore my dad's cowbell (from 1968-70) and I want to recreate the sticker that he has on there. I have looked all over the web for the image of this logohttp://www.nationalchamps.../Mississippi_St_OLD5.gif (without the helmet) and I've come up short. Anyone know where I can find an image file of it??<div>

Your link is broken and I can't see what you're talking about, but I've been trying to collect pics ofold logos for the same purpose.

This was put out as MSU neared itscentennial in the late 70's. I blv the arrow symbolizes the past coming around to meet the future @ MSU

approximately 10 years before the centennial. It may have meant what you said about the past meeting the future, but I don't believe it was in conjunction with the centennial.

I believe it was also tied directly to the whole space race/ moon landing events of the late 60's. Around that same time the School of Engineering became the College of Engineering and I think it was really part engineering identity, part national pride with the space stuff, part past meets future
