He was just put in hospice last week. Hopefully he did not suffer.

Just thinking of him makes me feel young. He was an NFL great from my childhood. So cool and calm even under pressure. And then he went on to have a great career as a football commentator. May he RIP.

I was also unaware that he was a Boilermaker, or that he was one of eleven (11) children. (!)
