Yeah, I laughed, in context a funny mistake. I wish I could say I had never watched “Friends,” myself.
By mistake, I meant that David Schwimmer was the Friends actor who had a role in BoB, not MP.
IDK, Friends had its moments...mostly Phoebe and Joey but Chandler was probably my 3rd favorite.
Lets just say its Noel Coward compared to what's on currently.
I thought the first few seasons were very well written and could stand up against any comedy. Over time that wore down, and the characters became more irritating than anything else.
Yea that happens with a series that goes on for that long. Look how good MASH was. There are a few that stood the test, off the top of my head both Cheers and Frasier were as good at the end as the start. Modern Family and Big Bang are a couple of others that I thought were good the entire run.
Cheers is odd in that when Kirstie first arrived mid series it was better in my opinion but that said the last year wasn't too good.First 3 years of MASH are alltime best , started to slip but when Frank left it really declined.
I hated David Schwimmer in the role of Capt Sobel. I know Sobel was not supposed to be liked but I thought they casted the wrong guy for the part. Love Band of Brothers. Very sad at Matthew Perry though. Anyone dying at the young age of 54 is sad.
I thought there were a lot of great episodes in the next few seasons that followed. This one is from season 4.
Think I was just the wrong age for it; I couldn't understand how six attractive people with nebulous employment could afford what appeared to be a $15,000.00/mo apartment in New York. Also, how they weren't all sleeping together on the regular. And coffee. Tons and tons of coffee. Just didn't get it. Phoebe was probably my favorite though; underrated dim hottie...

I must've been just right, though I thought we were similar in age. As a simple central pennsylvanian young teenager, I had zero comprehension of what jobs paid or what rent should cost in NYC, so that never crossed my mind. I was just sure those early seasons were witty enough and I was really into seeing those 3 girls every week.
Not me - I'm reading GQ in college and wondering how I'm going to afford to put together a 'Weekend' look (Mulberry tote, Tom Ford blazer, Gucci loafers, Hermes belt, Tag Heuer watch, etc.) for a trip with my model girlfriend to the Hamptons on an entry level marketing department salary with student loans. Also, did not have a model girlfriend. Or any idea what 'the Hamptons' was.
