I was four years old in 1969 but recall TV helicopter videos of all the people.

My future wife was in the crowd somewhere. She and a bunch of friends were part of the mega thousands who, spur of the moment, decided to go. One of the people she was with had a second of fame in the Woodstock movie.

Also took part in the more recent Mountain Jam festivals that were held at Hunter Mtn. Went to several of these, a good time.

Probably the greatest concert event of all time. It is wonderful that they filmed a large majority of the event for future generations

A worthwhile trip to Bethel NY to visit the museum and it is also a terrific concert venue in the summer.
