Polk had the opportunity to retire after last year and Raffo more than likely would have been named the new baseball coach. HE DIDN'T. Polk had the opportunity to recommend Raffo for a myriad of HEAD COACHING POSITIONS around the baseball world, so that Raffo would have the experience. HE DIDN'T. He could have produced a plan for Raffo to take the reigns of the program when he retired (ala McMahon, Laval, Jimbo Fisher, etc.). HE DIDN'T. Ron Polk needs to retreat to his soon to be (Mississippi State property) file filled room and consider his own failures in this matter.
