Should be:

Sellers = QB2. Tough convo to have with Doty, but I don't think there's any doubt for anyone who saw the game on Saturday that Sellers is the superior QB already. I'm sure Beamer will not commit to that publicly, but it just has to be. At his best, Doty was a 60% completion guy. Sellers is the future.

Anderson and Braswell = RBs 1 and 2. The experiment was fun and made a nice storyline, but Joyner just hasn't passed the eye test. For one thing, as another posted noted on here, Joyner's biggest asset was his speed, and he seems to have lost some speed by bulking up. JuJu is just too small to do any regular work there. Granted, it was very limited action, but Anderson and Braswell just looked more natural at the position. And they have running styles that complement one another. Anderson looks likes a bruising back while Braswell has quickness and speed.

Of course, all these player could look like they totally suck next time we see them, haha. Who can ever tell.

Why is it a tough conversation with Doty? He has proven he'll do whatever it takes to help the team. He's smart enough to who where he stands at QB and receiver.

I dunno, I'm imagining it would be. Maybe not. They'd be telling him once and for all that he's not a QB, at least not here. So far he's done whatever we needed him to do, but the carrot has always been dangled out there that he's still a QB. QB is clearly his preferred position.

I think the tougher part will be avoiding yanking him back and forth and having a clear going forward plan. If you are going to move him to WR, move him there and leave him there.

Mike UVa suggested the one reason DK is at RB is because of his ability to block. Some of the other guys must struggle in that area. Not surprised if that’s an issue for Braswell. And Braswell was in at the end of the game and actually took 2 pretty good shots. Not sure he’s quite ready, at least physically, to withstand those hits all season.

I will admit Anderson looked decent. Just don’t think the answer to the running game is on this roster right now…not for this season. We’re playing some very young Offensive Linemen now. They’ll take their licks this season. Maybe we’ll be much better in the end. Maybe Anderson will be healthy and fresh when the OL starts to hit their groove.

As far as QB, I’ve felt Sellers would be the guy if Rattler went down. It doesn’t matter who is listed 2nd on the depth chart. I think it’s clear everyone around that program realizes that Sellers is a special kid. He might be a 4 year guy too. I wouldn’t play him in more than 4 games if I didn’t have to. Could have a RS Freshman starting next season and be set at QB for a while. I believe the 2nd QB on the depth chart comes down completely to the situation we’re in. But I think they know who the 2nd best QB is.

Not sure how accurate that is. I haven't charted every play or anything, but it doesn't seem like we leave the RB in to block much anyway. Don't disagree that the answer isn't in on the roster right now, but we simply don't know until we see them. And while they may not be answer, we just need some sort of threat to go along with the elite passing attack. On the OL, all of the guys that have played so far are upper classmen. They've played a lot of ball, and are not young. Tree and Bough played some in the FU game, and looked good. But prior to that, it's an experienced group...which is why it's so frustrating to watch. I hope Tree, Bough and Markee get a lot of PT in the coming weeks.
