Darn. Was hoping Steelers or Panthers for Wilson and thought maybe the going Commandos might try to get him.

With Rodgers and Wilson settled, Barkley is up next. Hoping he goes somewhere good.

This is actually a good deal for the Bronco's. Listen, we are in an era where the QB is everything. The Bronco's have the talent on both sides of the ball and the GM to find the missing pieces.

Couldn't even get Teddy?

Seahawks got a ton. Is Pete staying for a rebuild?

Denver understands that without a QB, you aren't going anywhere. Particularly with Mahomes and Herbert on the schedule 4x a year.
Seahawks QB's are now Drew Lock and Jacob Eason as far as I can tell. It'll be interesting how they handle that situation for this year.

Looks like shed mode. Doubt they go after a QB this year. Draft looks better next year.

That is a lot. 2nd rounders hit nearly as often as 1's. They are sure set at QB for a while now.
Almost a Hershel Walker type trade.

Depends on what your goal is, if it is to win a SB, having a QB is NOT everything if he is making elite money. However, if you want to be competitive, and make the playoffs, having an elite QB is important. Think about it, since the rookie wage scale, how many teams have won a SB with a QB getting elite money.
Broncos did it with Manning, but Manning was more of a detriment to winning at that point. Maybe, Brady, but that is it. Stafford this year was only about 20 against the cap......

That's more to do with 3 or 4 QBs having been on the SB winning team for 12-13 of the last 20-22 SBs than simply "paying big doesn't work".

There is no recipe alone to win a SB. However, having a great QB gets you in the playoffs. That's half the battle.

The Steelers would never give up that kind of capital for one player whether it’s draft pieces for Wilson or major cash for Rodgers. They are exactly where most though they would be. It’s either a second chance for a veteran free agent/trade QB like Trubisky, Mariota, Bridgewater, Winston or tread water with Rudolph while attempting to obtain a QB through the draft this year or next. If the second option is the decision, they need to load up on OL and other roster holes in this draft. Najee Harris’s career will be very short if they don’t.

Not a fan of either team but that’s too much - even for RW
Denver gave up 3 players that aren't worth a s**t, they essentially traded 2 ones and two twos and a fifth for Wilson and a 4th, it was a great trade for Denver.
